The Emperor’s Cloak

30 x 30 inches

76.2 x 76.2 cm

Abstract Artwork from the Journey Collection 2021 by Dr Mahum Naeem

An original painting, unique and one of its kind.

Painted using the finest acrylic paints on premium cotton deep edge canvas. Textured mix of brown, bronze, gold, copper, black and white.

An immersive experience when the viewer gazes at this piece, you will find a windswept scene. The finish on this piece is similar to a translucent veil covering the beautiful scene. It is named after literary folktale ‘The Emperor’s new clothes’ published in 1837. The moral or message, of this tale is that we must not let pride or fear keep us from speaking up.

This piece has great depth, with much left to interpretation of the viewer.
